EOS Global Tech Skills Academy 2022

This July we welcomed the graduates of our EOS Global Tech Skills Academy to the team! 13 individuals started with us across a range of departments including procurement, customs, design, and project coordination.

The Academy students went through a 6-week intensive course learning about procurement, logistics, project coordination, international trade, and much more whilst also achieving a Prince2 qualification in project management. All training was based at the SERC in Lisburn. During the course, many representatives from EOS held sessions to give insights into different departments throughout the business.

Josh McKeown, one of our 2022 graduates mentioned his favorite part of the course was: “Meeting 14 other people from different parts of the world, with the same goal of learning new skills/qualifications & being given the opportunity of gaining employment on completion”

At the end of the 6-week course, the students were tasked to present to a team from EOS on some of the topics they had been learning about during the course. To make it a little more interesting, the groups were competing against each other with the team from EOS selecting the winner at the end of the challenge. After successful completion of the course and presentation, each candidate was invited to an interview at EOS HQ. We are delighted that we were able to offer a total of 13 jobs.

All successful candidates have now started their role in EOS and were treated to an Ice Cream Van on site for their first day to welcome them to the team!
